JomBelajar — Official Policies & Terms

JomBelajar is a structured online Mathematics Mentorship platform committed to building strong mathematical foundations, confident learners, and positive study discipline.

By proceeding with registration and payment, parents and students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies.

1. Registration & Payment

Registration is confirmed only after successful payment verification.
Parents and students are responsible for reviewing the class timetable, programme details, and fees before making payment.
Payments must be made through JomBelajar’s official payment links (Billplz). Manual bank transfers are not accepted as a standard payment method.
The standard 2027 mentorship fees are:
- Monthly Package: RM70 per subject
- 3-Month Package: RM180 per subject
The 3-month package covers three consecutive months, starting from the enrolment month confirmed by JomBelajar. It cannot be paused or extended due to missed classes or personal commitments.
Special programmes, may have separate fees, payment options, and coverage periods as stated during registration.
Parents paying for multiple children or subjects must ensure that the correct student and subject details are provided to JomBelajar Admin.
Every payment must be identifiable by its student(s), subject(s), package, and payment coverage period.
Previously paid packages will be honoured until their original coverage periods end. Students will only need to renew after their existing coverage expires.
Access to classes, official WhatsApp groups, learning materials, and recordings is provided only after payment confirmation, except for continuing students within an officially approved renewal grace period.
Payment for one student or subject cannot automatically be transferred to another student or subject. Any exceptional request must be reviewed and approved by JomBelajar.

2. Timetable & Attendance

Class schedules are fixed and communicated in advance.
Parents and students are responsible for ensuring that the timetable suits their school schedules and personal commitments before registration.
Timetable clashes with school activities, other tuition classes, or personal commitments are generally not valid reasons for refunds, replacement classes, or transfers.
Students are strongly encouraged to attend live classes consistently for the best learning experience.
Students who miss a live class are encouraged to watch the available class recording and complete the relevant learning activities.
If JomBelajar needs to make an exceptional change to a published timetable, affected parents will be informed through official communication channels.

3. Class Recordings & Learning Materials

Class recordings are provided to support revision and help students catch up when they miss live lessons.
Recordings are not intended to replace regular live class attendance.
Recordings and learning materials are shared through JomBelajar’s official WhatsApp groups, learning platform, or designated links.
Students with active enrolment may access available class recordings throughout their active enrolment period, subject to platform availability and technical requirements.
Recording access normally ends when a student’s enrolment expires or is discontinued.
JomBelajar reserves the right to manage, update, restrict, or remove specific recording links when necessary for technical, operational, or content-management purposes.
Class recordings and learning materials are provided for registered students’ personal educational use only. Unauthorised sharing, redistribution, resale, or publication is not permitted.

4. Refund Policy

Tuition payments are generally non-refundable once class access has been provided.
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Missed classes
- Personal timetable clashes
- Changes of mind
- Other tuition commitments
- Personal or school-related scheduling conflicts
The purchase of a multi-month package represents enrolment for the selected coverage period. Unused months are not automatically refundable if a student voluntarily discontinues classes.
Exceptional refund requests may be reviewed individually, including circumstances where JomBelajar is unable to provide the agreed service or makes a significant change that materially affects the student’s enrolment.
Any approved refund will take into account tuition already provided, remaining prepaid coverage, the circumstances of the request, and applicable legal requirements.
Approved refunds will be processed through an appropriate payment method after the necessary payment and recipient details have been verified.
A goodwill exception granted in one case does not automatically establish eligibility for other cases.
Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Replacement Classes

No individual replacement classes are provided when a student misses a scheduled lesson.
Students who miss a class should refer to the available recording to catch up.
Where JomBelajar cancels a scheduled session, an appropriate replacement arrangement or other suitable resolution will be communicated.
Any replacement or additional class conducted by JomBelajar may also be recorded and shared through the official learning channels.

6. Communication & Administration

All administrative matters must be handled through JomBelajar’s official admin channels.
Administrative matters include registration, payments, renewals, timetable enquiries, WhatsApp group access, and recording access.
Messages sent directly to Mr. Shankar regarding routine administrative matters will be redirected to JomBelajar Admin.
Official announcements, class links, notes, recording information, and other important instructions will be shared through the appropriate WhatsApp groups, group descriptions, or official platforms.
Parents and students are responsible for reviewing important announcements and keeping their contact information updated.
Questions about teaching methods, academic progress, and learning concerns may be referred to Mr. Shankar through the appropriate communication channel.

7. Class Conduct, Identity & Assessments

Students must join online classes using their full registered names.
Nicknames, unrecognisable names, or inappropriate display names are not permitted.
Students are expected to maintain respectful behaviour and follow class instructions.
Students are encouraged to participate actively, complete assigned practice, and attempt assessments provided as part of the mentorship programme.
Monthly assessments and quizzes are intended to evaluate understanding, identify areas requiring improvement, and encourage consistent learning.
Parents are encouraged to support their children’s attendance, revision, and participation in assessments.
JomBelajar reserves the right to manage student participation to maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.

8. Policy Updates & Acknowledgement

JomBelajar may update these policies from time to time to improve operations, maintain teaching quality, and support the learning experience.
Any material policy changes will be communicated through appropriate official channels.
Parents and students are responsible for reviewing the applicable programme information and policies before making payment.
Parents registering new students may be asked to acknowledge the policies before receiving payment instructions.
Proceeding with registration and payment indicates acknowledgement and acceptance of the applicable JomBelajar policies, subject to applicable law.
Changes to policies will not retrospectively remove already-confirmed prepaid tuition coverage.

These policies are established to ensure fairness, transparency, consistent administration, and a positive learning experience for every JomBelajar student.

We don’t just teach Mathematics. We build strong foundations, confident learners, and the discipline to succeed.
