In Lesson 1 (2/5/2025), students will begin with a comprehensive revision of Chapters 1 to 4, using selected state trial papers to reinforce their understanding of topics such as Numbers and Operations, Sets, Algebra, and Coordinates, while developing effective problem-solving strategies.
In Lesson 2 (9/5/2025) introduces Chapter 5: Transformations, where students will explore the four basic transformations: Translation, Reflection, Rotation, and Combined Transformation. The lesson focuses on identifying and performing each transformation using coordinates and grid-based representations.
In Lesson 3 (16/5/2025), students will move on to Enlargement, the final transformation type in Chapter 5. They will also solve questions involving Combined Transformation, developing the ability to apply multiple transformations in sequence and describe them using correct mathematical notation.
Finally, Lesson 4 (23/5/2025) is dedicated entirely to practicing Combined Transformation questions, helping students gain fluency and confidence in handling this frequently tested area of the syllabus, especially in preparation for structured and objective questions in exams.
