What Will You Learn?

• In Lesson 1 (6/6/2025), students will begin Chapter 6 with an introduction to linear inequalities, focusing on understanding the inequality symbols such as , ≤, and ≥, and how they differ from equality. The lesson will involve simple problem-solving questions involving linear inequalities in one and two variables. Students will learn to interpret and write inequalities based on given conditions and constraints.
• In Lesson 2 (13/6/2025), students will deepen their understanding by learning how to form linear inequalities from word problems or scenarios. They will also be introduced to graphical representations, specifically how to shade the region that satisfies the given inequalities on a Cartesian plane. Students will practice plotting boundary lines and applying the correct shading for solutions based on inequality signs.
• In Lesson 3 (20/6/2025), students will apply their knowledge to solve exam-style structured questions related to Chapter 6. These questions will typically involve multiple inequalities, requiring students to identify feasible regions and analyze solution sets. Emphasis will be placed on interpreting solution regions and understanding intersection points of inequalities.
• In Lesson 4 (27/6/2025), students will consolidate their learning by attempting actual SPM and trial questions from past years, with a particular focus on multiple-choice questions (MCQs). This revision session will help students refine their answering techniques, recognize common question formats, and reinforce their understanding of key concepts through exam-style practice.
