In Lesson 1 (6/2/2025), students will be introduced to the SPM Additional Mathematics exam format to build awareness of paper structure and question types. The lesson will then begin Chapter 3 with a revision on solving simultaneous equations involving two variables using basic algebraic methods.
In Lesson 2 (13/2/2025), students will progress to solving simultaneous equations involving three variables using substitution and elimination methods. They will also learn how to use a scientific calculator efficiently to solve such systems.
In Lesson 3 (20/2/2025) will focus on practice, where students will attempt a range of questions to strengthen their understanding of solving simultaneous equations.
In Lesson 4 (27/2/2025), students will solve simultaneous equations that involve a quadratic expression and practise applying the quadratic formula. The lesson will also include selected SPM-level questions to consolidate their understanding of Chapter 3.
