In Lesson 1 (3/4/2025), students will begin Chapter 2 by exploring different methods to solve quadratic equations, including factorisation, the quadratic formula, and completing the square. They will practise applying each method to solve a variety of quadratic equations.
In Lesson 2 (10/4/2025), students will learn how to form quadratic equations and explore the relationships between the sum and product of roots. This lesson includes practice questions to reinforce their understanding.
In Lesson 3 (17/4/2025) will begin with a discussion of homework on forming quadratic equations, followed by more practice in this area. The concept of quadratic inequalities will then be introduced.
In Lesson 4 (24/4/2025), students will review homework on quadratic inequalities and proceed to solve quadratic equations using graphical methods, including sketching graphs and using tables. They will also learn to determine the type of the roots based on the discriminant.
